Rome Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci Airport express train to Termini. (Note: There is quite a long way to walk from the termini to other platforms, do allow plenty of time to change!)

Florence: ?

Pisa Airport: Airport terminal link to Florence or Pisa Central (5 mins and change to Florence), where you change to a south bound train for Chiusi. The ticket office is to the right as you leave baggage claim, the trains are to the left and there is an automatic ticket machine at the platform.

Bologna: Bus service to the station, then mainline south possibly changing in Florence.

By Train

By Train - Chiusi (Chiusi Chianciano Terme) Station

Chiusi station is easily accessible using excellent fast trains from Florence, Rome, Milan and Venice.

The train station is a 20 minuntes drive away with Avis, Europcar, Hertz as well as some independent car rental offices a short walk from the station.

Note: you must validate your ticket before boarding the train in one of the small yellow boxes found on platforms and near ticket offices. Push your ticket into the slot which will be stamped with date, time and place, failing to do this involves a fine.

We recommend travelling by train if visiting Florence and Rome for the day as both suffer from difficult traffic systems.

All day parking is free of charge.

There is a taxi rank outside the station and a taxi from Casa Lorenzo can be booked by arrangement.
